Vuonue’s Tarmo is a versatile yarn perfectly suited for cozy wool socks, sweaters, mittens, scarves, and hats. Finnish sheep are a traditional Nordic breed, well adapted to withstand harsh northern climates. Their wool is prized for its excellent warmth, natural elasticity, and breathability, making garments both comfortable and long-lasting. For socks, the manufacturer recommends a tight stitch pattern with reinforced heels for extra durability. One skein is enough for a pair of size 39 low-cut socks, while longer socks or larger sizes will need two skeins.
