Garthenor Organic’s Snowdonia Sock gains its durability naturally from the wools used - Romney and Hebridean sheep wool are strong on their own, and the yarn’s two-ply construction adds even more wear resistance. The high-twist yarn is carefully designed so that the wool’s qualities are showcased in the best possible way. This wonderful, plastic-free sock yarn is definitely worth trying, but why not knit much more than just socks with it!

The wool used in Snowdonia Sock comes from South Wales, the Scottish Highlands, and Southwest England. The yarn is spun and dyed in Yorkshire and finished in West Wales. It holds the GOTS certification. This organic wool yarn is wound into skeins with a recycled paper label printed with plant-based ink. A small piece of yarn can be threaded through the metal eyelet on the label as a color sample for future projects or notes.
